The National Service Scheme (NSS) Unit | स्वयं से पहले आप
The National Service Scheme (NSS) is a flagship youth development programme launched in 1969 under the Ministry of Youth Affairs & Sports, Government of India. Guided by the motto "Not Me But You" | स्वयं से पहले आप , NSS focuses on developing students' personalities through meaningful community service and nation-building activities.
At our institution, the NSS Unit serves as a dynamic platform where students actively engage with society beyond classroom learning. Volunteers participate in various social initiatives and contribute to the welfare of the community, fostering leadership, teamwork, and a spirit of volunteerism. NSS provides a platform for holistic development beyond academics, helping students become socially conscious citizens. Participation in NSS adds value to personal and professional growth by instilling discipline, empathy, and a service-oriented mindset.
